Tips to keep your child from getting bored on a ferry trip

Have you ever found yourself in the difficult position of having to be the “bad guy,” shouting at your child on a crowded ferry to finally sit still, stop running down the aisles like crazy, and stop screaming out of boredom?

Maybe you weren’t organized properly? A recent trip with my daughter gave me the idea to share some clever tips to keep your little one well-behaved!

– Books: They will definitely capture their attention while also entertaining them. And we don’t necessarily mean books, magazines can work too.

– Drawing materials: Bring along a drawing pad and markers or colored pencils. Be assured that your child will be quite absorbed.
– Small toys: What your child will definitely ask for during a long trip is their favorite toy. You can also bring a puzzle to keep them busy or an activity game with cards.
– Snacks: If you are making a long journey, you should definitely have various snacks with you in case your child gets hungry.
– Children’s movie on the laptop: This is one of the few times you won’t regret putting on a movie on the laptop, as it will keep them occupied for at least two hours.
